YAEL foundation – foundation for liver research and medical education
The mission of the YAEL foundation is to promote medical research, education and practice. A particular focus is on:
- autoimmune and infectious diseases of the liver
- autoimmune liver diseases
- viral hepatitis
- other inflammatory liver diseases
- ethical and social aspects of medicine
Our Activitites:
- Patient information and continuing educational events for patients and doctors
- Endowment and continued support of the ‘YAEL Clinic for Autoimmune Liver Diseases’ at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf
The YAEL foundation is recognized as non-profit organization by the State of Hamburg (Finanzamt Hamburg-Nord).
